Packing List

We highly recommend you bring the following items:

  • Extra dry clothes, socks, boots
  • Flash light
  • One pair of rubber walking boots such as La’crosse Alpha lites/ Burley  
  • One Jacket
  • A cooler to keep and transport your meat
  • A good pair of work gloves to protect your hands from briars, such as those sold by Iron Clad
  • A good pair of briar britches such as those available from True Timber
The average hunt consists of a 6 mile hike, at least!!  We can not stress enough that you must be in
good physical shape.  If you have physical limitations, we can assist you with an ATV,  but some
walking and running will still be necessary. We will make every effort to make your hunt one you will
never forget, but please understand you will be pushed to your limits. Expect to wade through some
of the worst swamps in Georgia, thick with nasty briars and home to an abundant and healthy
population of rattlesnakes!
